That was amazing! Eragon was so busy with wondering if he himself could visit other places as well, that he almost didn’t hear the question Dark asked them. Giving the dark haired an apologetic smile he rubbed the back of his head, hoping that Dark hadn’t noticed.
“Of course. I am Eragon Shadeslayer, son of nobody.”
And I am Saphira Brightscales, Daughter of Vervada, Saphira added in their minds.
“Son of Nobody? You people still think that matters? Wow.” Dark chuckled with a shake of his head. “Kid, it doesn’t matter who your dad- or your mom for that matter- is. All that matters is what you do with yourself.”
Then he turnd towards Saphira. “Saphira? Doesn’t that name already belong to Brom’s dragon?”
Una smiled as she helped steady the other girl. Walking on two legs having swimming in the sea for so long would have most definitely given some a wobble to their walk she supposed. Scra also helped himself to what was a stand for him, then crouched again so that Una could get on his back a she usually did.And she did plan on riding him over the way, so as to save themselves what was probably a long walk- but she wanted to make sure Ariel was comfortable with doing so first. So again she wrote out a message and handed it to her.
Would you be willing to fly on Scra’s back with me?
Blue eyes turned to look at Scra as he moved around and Ariel tried to figure out what he was. Looking down at the message that was scribbled down, Ariel looked up shocked. Fly? The creature could fly? Excitement rushed through the redhead and she nodded with pure joy. Could they really fly around?
That sounds perfect! The words were quickly written down, sloppily with the language difference. Her toes dug into the sand hoping she could see the human world from an aerial review like Scuttle could.
Una smiled at her with an amused joy. She had never flow with anyone else before- it was nice to have another companion. With that she hoisted herself onto the Kagraok’s back. Then offered out a hand to Ariel to help her into the saddle behind her.
Once Ariel was secure, Una made sure that her arms were around her waist so she could hold on better. There were several clicking sounds from Una- as a way of commanding flight- and they were air the air.
The flight itself was a relatively short one. But the night was clear. The wind of the sea was a calm one, carrying the scents of many mysteries. Yet, as Scra was unused to carrying so much weight, they had to land a bit sooner than planned. At least half a mile still from the city with the castle.
